Using Facebook Safely

I was so excited to see this article.  I have to admit I am an avid user of Facebook, but it also makes me nervous and I am constantly checking my settings to make sure only "my friends" can see my posts, etc.  But what makes me even more nervous is the fact that I know my students are using it and they are not very knowledgeable when it comes to internet safety.  Facebook has published a 32 page guide on Facebook safety for parents to use.  Hopefully this will get out to our parents and they will actually read it.  This article can be found on Free Technology for Teachers and is titled "Connect Safely-A Parents' Guide to Facebook."
